11.0 Amendments

11.1 BY-LAW REPEAL AND AMENDMENT

a. amendments to the By-laws may be submitted by an individual member in good standing duly seconded by another member in good standing.
b. the proposed amendment must be in the hands of the President at least thirty days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
c. The By-laws of the Guild may be repealed or amended by the majority of the Executive at a meeting of the Executive, and sanctioned by an affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of the members at an Annual General Meeting or a Special Meeting duly called for the purpose of considering the said By-law, providing that the enactment, repeal or amendment of such By-law shall not be enforced or acted upon until the approval of the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs has been obtained.

11.2 CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

a. amendments to the Constitution may be submitted by an individual member in good standing duly seconded by another member in good standing.
b. Any proposed amendment must be in the hands of the President at least thirty days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
c. A two-thirds affirmative vote of members present at the Annual General Meeting is required to enact the amendment.
