Community Involvement

Since its founding over 30 years ago, the Ottawa Artisans Guild has believed in supporting our local community.

Admittance to our markets is free but we request donations of non-perishable foodstuffs or cash which we then deliver to the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard. In the past five years we have collected more than 1000 boxes of food and $10000 in cash donations

As well, our members donate items which they have made and these items then are auctioned off at one of our two Social Meetings (November and May meetings). The proceeds from each auction is donated to a local charity selected by the members prior to the meeting.
